a bit of a character arc and some thoughts about a story arc

A young lady. She is very unsure of herself, two left feet so to say. She is constantly looking for affirmation and this causes her to behave in a particular manner. Often trying to be more than she is, she causes trouble while appearing to solve them.

She was consistently surprised by how the weather affected and reflected the intensity of her grief.

Everything seems to be going wrong for Lauren. She's split up with her fiancé, leaving the apartment they shared and the job she had at his family's estate agents. And now, even the weather seems out to get her. She's hoping a few weeks in the Shropshire countryside with her Gran will help to clear her head and fix her broken heart.
