Sunshine is an independent woman of a certain age who lives a peaceful life outside of the town of Hluhluwe. Despite the demands of her African culture, she leads a decent and quiet life. However, out of nowhere, she receives a wedding invitation from a branch of her large family. This sudden news propels her world into chaos, and she is flooded with memories and emotions as she reminisces about her traditional upbringing.
