A sensitive word picture of love between a boy and his dog! Both “ditched” and now found! I could both see and feel the emotions in this story.

For the cooler of pride
And wisdom thriving higher;
It’ll not end with the flu.
Look up and pick his call
Under his shade, a fortiori
Recreating rest with no coma;
Embrace power in His hands not brief.

If I’d be Rose, it would be a boring afternoon. Her patience and responses in between the reading, I can’t balance that for long. Your description with the dialogue creates a live scene. I thought I was watching and listening to the two sisters and not reading it . Great work!
