Free Classes – Writing Prompts

Write better stories

 In this class…

We will be discussing writing prompts in depth and how they will help you build your confidence and your writing skills.

A prompt can be anything. It can be a word, a phrase, a number, a song lyric, a line from a poem, a name or even a picture. The prompts in the workbook are words or phrases. They are meant to stimulate your thoughts.

Just like a runner who is fit and well-prepared shows up to the race with confidence so does a writer who has practiced their craft. A good writer is a confident writer. A good writer breaks the rules with abandon, enthusiasm, intention, and definitely with confidence.

Or as Neil Gaiman said, “The main rule of writing is that if do it with enough assurance and confidence you’re allowed to do whatever you like.

That confidence is what will get you noticed. That confidence is what will help your voice to be heard. That confidence, that you will gain from writing prompts, will help you with your goal to get published.
