Hi Elizabeth – that’s a whole heap of rhymes which make up a happy-go-lucky poem. I think Melania could have done better with your poem on her back instead of ‘I really don’t care, do you?’. Lovely poem.

Hi Elizabeth. I liked this – so easy to read with a lovely sing song pattern. Rhyming can be fun, when it is presented like this.
I read below that your father in law has passed away. It is a blessing for him and you. It is no life to have to live with that disease once it takes its firm hold. Take Care. Hugs

Enjoyed this .each line reads as a one-liner comeback to someones elses passing retort .

Read your reply about your father-in-law : I am very sorry to hear. I remember your piece from last month -it was raw and honest. I hope you feel some measure of solace, relief and acceptance for what was an untenable , hopeless condition . May he find his peace now too ❤

Free and easy–I liked the feel of this piece, especially the phrase “checked that square.” Neatly written and clever.

I love how you bookended this with dare and care. So fun to read. My favorite lines: “Do it with flair
On a wing and a prayer
Lay your heart bare”

Hi Elizabeth. Sorry to hear about the loss of your father-in-law during these uncertain times. I think it’s great you wrote something like this to stay in the game. This year has certainly flown by, honestly. Two months! Yeah, mine’s still waiting for approval. A heads-up, is not as light as yours, hehe. Hugs from Mexico!
