Crazy New Special by NetaQ # We walk on the right and pass on the left, or drive on the right and pass on the left. Policies, procedures, rules – enforcing behaviors, traditions, robots, automatons, humans. One foot forward, one foot backward, gauging. Simple questioning to the Time Keeper of secrets. I beg your pardon, NetaQ. I must have been having another stroke. I have no idea what I was saying or when I wrote it.

Hi Neta. You certainly raise some interesting points here and you have written some memorable lines. I particularly like: ‘we / are just shucks discarded / like porous memories.’

I lost the thread occasionally – I’m not sure if you intended to identify being single as a worst case scenario and I didn’t get the relevance of the non-china types of plate. Probably me being a bit obtuse.

But, yes, breaking rules is likely to invigorate you so long as you don’t endanger anyone else by doing so. Well done.

Hello Neta
I have asked the questions you raise more often than not. But then there are some basic rules we have to obey if we don’t want a society sunk in chaos. beyond that your questions are justifiable, and I thik one should not neglect them if we don’t want to turn into automatic robots.
Good work. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Neta, a poem full of thoughts and questions. Why indeed. We do have to obey some rules or we would have anarchy everywhere we go. But do we need so many?? I like that this poem makes you think. Well done and thanks for sharing:)

Why not, indeed. As you did, perhaps, in the second-to-last stanza? I learned a new word: flexitarian. Maybe that’s the hidden lesson. We all need to be more flexitarian.

“Unnecessarily evolving” is an interesting concept. Almost sounds like the title of a scientific paper. Might be worth exploring further.
