Nice piece, I had trouble with the flow, perhaps reading it out loud would help get the rhythm to smooth out. Loved your rhyme, and the idea. Really enjoyed the orange, and fruition – yes, it’s a citrus, but the idea is there.

Hi Maruschka, I also had a little bit of trouble with the rhythm of your rhyme:) However, I think that might have been on purpose – according to your last line:

however vigorous the gibberish — these words carry meaning still

Hello Maruschka – I was expecting a poem of alliteration from your title but there was not a lot. Quite a bit of rhyme and assonance, though. It’s an interesting take on the prompt.
